The first teaser trailer for The Hobbit part one: An Unexpected Journey is finally here. And it didn’t disappoint one bit.

Craziness. Lets break down what I noticed.

10 – Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins, on the left, talking to Ian Holm’s Bilbo Baggins, on the right.

23 – Transition to the younger Bilbo, played by Martin Freeman.

25 – Great look at Gandalf the Grey (not the white yet this takes place before the events in Lord of the Rings Trilogy we all know)

36 – We are introduced to all 13 Dwarves, including the leader, Thorin Oakenshield, played by Richard Armitage.

51 – This indicates that we will see more singing in the prequels. I think the song is referred to as Over the Misty Mountains Cold in the book.

1:24 – Bilbo is in the house of Elrond, looking up at the Shards of Narsil.

1:43 – Looks like Bilbo unsheathing Sting for the first time.

1:58 – This definitely looks like a quick shot of Bert and Tom and William. Trolls.

2:12 – We see the ring on the ground in what must be Gollum’s cave.

2:16 – Gollum, played by somebody who could be the greatest single actor on the planet, Andy Serkis.
