Entertainment Weekly has the goods again today with the first image we've seen from the Evil Dead remake, as well as a blood soaked Chloe Grace Moretz on the poster for the remake of the 1976 horror classic Carrie. Both movies had panels today at the New York Comic Con. Let's take a look at the Evil Dead first, shall we?
YEEEEES. I'm lovin' it. By all accounts (including ScreenRant's), today's Evil Dead panel was a big success. An extremely gory set of footage was shown featuring the new "female Ash" Jane Levy (who upon initial inspection was cloned from Emma Stone), and the audience reacted to it very positively. The image you see above should definitely get fans of the original trilogy very excited. Why? Just look at the one below, taken from 1981's first Evil Dead film:
I will miss the white eyeballs though.
As for the Carrie remake, I don't have much to say about it, except that I hope it's good, and here's the poster:
