NBA 2K13 Developer Insight #1 Video Reveals Some New Game Aspects

NBA 2K13's Senior Producer Rob Jones, Senior Game Designer Mike Wang (the man), Assistant Producer Jerson Sapida, and Producer Zach Timmerman are the keynote speakers in this first Developer Insight video.

The major change that will surely cause chaos amongst the 2K fanboys, including myself, is the subtraction of the traditional shot stick, which according to this ESPN hands-on preview, is now used in conjunction with the left trigger. We'll see how that works, it's not like I'm not going to buy it.

The ESPN article also gives details on how you can now call plays and get T-ed up for swearing at the screen with the Kinect. Yes, the Kinect officially sucks for motion capture, but the voice command systems have made it well worth the money for me, and hopefully 2K13 takes advantage of this to the fullest.

2K Sports also released three new photos of the digital counterparts of the cover athletes. Check-ch-check-check-check-ch-check em out!
