John Hillcoat’s Red Dead Redemption: The Man from Blackwater

Director John Hillcoat's only major film release thus far has been The Road, based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy, the same dude who wrote No Country for Old Men. It starred Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit McPhee and is one of the best post-apocalyptic movies I've seen in a long time. Lawless, Hillcoat's biggest movie yet, comes out next week, but that's not what I'm here to write about, but rather the short film he made with the Red Dead Redemption game engine in 2010 as a promotional tool for it's upcoming release.

It's called The Man from Blackwater, and it goes through some scenarios that fans of the game should be familiar with.
