It's College Football Season! I've decided to give my inconceivably accurate predictions on who I think will win in each top 25 (according to ESPN at least) matchup, plus the Washington Huskies and Washington State Cougars. Look for it each Wednesday, sometimes Thursday or Friday's.
Week 6 "Expert" Analysis
Well...at least the Seahawks won. By my count I went 6-10 on my picks last week (apparently I forgot about the Notre Dame/Miami game). Florida State's 17-16 loss to NC State was a tough one, I really thought the Seminoles would have an undefeated regular season, but so much for that. I also picked Georgia over South Carolina, but anybody who saw that only had to watch the first quarter to see who won (South Carolina won 35-7).
As for my other Northwest teams, I didn't watch the Cougs game, but by the looks of the stats I'm glad I didn't. WSU QB's Connor Halliday and Jeff Tuel combined to go 20/37 for 207 yards, zero touchdowns, and four interceptions in a 19-6 loss to a suddenly very good Oregon State team. If you don't know much about football, let me say that it's preferable to get more touchdowns than interceptions. Washington looked about as good as anybody else has against #2 Oregon this year, which isn't good. Safe to say they still have our number.
For my DouBle B Reviews Game of the Week, I picked Georgia over South Carolina, but anybody who saw that only had to watch the first quarter to see who won (South Carolina won 35-7). So apparently they're not feeling like disappearing early this year .I'm having a coding issue so I'm just gonna tell you I'm picking UW over USC. WOOF!
WEEK 7 PREDICTIONS
I'm gonna go with #17 Stanford at #9 Notre Dame and #3 South Carolina at #9 LSU as my co-games of the week. Both are very big road tests for the teams that I WANT to win. But will I pick them? You're gonna have to read on to find out.
BTW, last week my buddy Max suggested that I put the times on each game, so I did, and now I'm gonna be including both teams records as well. All times will be in Pacific Standard Time aka WEST COAST TIME!
