Wake Forest Demon Deacons at #5 Florida State Seminoles
If you look at the combined score of 124-3 in FSU's first two victories, you'd think they no doubt deserve that top five ranking. But then you look at the opponents, Murray State, and Savannah State. I'm not sure how much Murray State sucks but Savannah State had lost 84-0 to an Oklahoma State team that got blown out in week 2 by Arizona. So bottom line is we have not a fucking clue how good they are, but I'm still bettin' they take out Wake.
California Golden Bears at #12 Ohio State Buckeyes
Does Urban Meyer really have the twelfth best team in the country? Or are they better than that? Or better than that, worse. What can I say? I'm a Wolverine fan. But they still probably beat Cal.
#13 Virginia Tech Hokies at Pittsburgh Panthers
VT squeaked by Georgia Tech and hammered Austin Peay. So we don't really know how good they are at this point. But we do know that Pittsburgh really, really sucks.
#16 TCU Horned Frogs at Kansas Jayhawks
Jayhawks coach Charlie Weis used to be an overhyped assistant for (FUCK) The New England Patriots, then he was a disaster at Notre Dame. Not a fan.
Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles at #4 Oregon Ducks
Not the toughest game to call, although OU's defense is a little suspect.
Furman Paladins at #11 Clemson Tigers
Should be a massacre.
#1 Alabama Crimson Tide vs Arkansas Razorbacks
Roll Tide. Razorbacks may come back to be a decent team, but it just won't happen against these freaks.
UMass Minutemen at #17 Michigan Wolverines
Although the Wolverines got the beatdown against Bama in week one, I'm still hopin' for a big whatever title.
North Carolina Tar Heels at #19 Louisville Cardinals
This would be one hell of a basketball game. But this is football.
Portland State Vikings at Washington Huskies
After last weeks futile attempt against LSU, I'm very glad the Huskies have a supposed cupcake on the schedule. Go Huskies!
James Madison Dukes at #9 West Virginia Mountaineers
WVU has looked impressive against Marshall. The Dukes won't stay undefeated.
#18 Florida Gators vs #23 Tennessee Volunteers
Nicknamed so simply as the Third Saturday in September, this game is gonna be a doozy. Gators have won seven straight in the series to take a 22-19 all-time lead. "Mark it eight dude".
UAB Blazers at #8 South Carolina Gamecocks
Are perennial mediocres (as far as SEC standards go) the Gamecocks for real this year? I don't think so, but they'll probably have a good chance at being undefeated when they meet up with Georgia October 6th.
North Texas Mean Green at #15 Kansas State Wildcats
The Wildcats made Miami appear as a has been program last week. The Mean Green will be happy for the paycheck.
#2 USC Trojans at #21 Stanford Cardinal
My buddy Max keeps saying Stanford sucks, and we'll know that for sure after this weekend. Can the Trojans Heisman hopeful Matt Barkley shake his Stanford curse and prove his team is truly back amongst the nations best? I think so.
Florida Atlantic Owls at #7 Georgia Bulldogs
I'm not too sure about Georgia yet, but I doubt they'd fuck up against a team that lost to Middle Tennessee last week.
#20 Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs #10 Michigan State Spartans
I just really, really don't like Notre Dame.
#14 Texas Longhorns at Ole Miss Rebels
If Ole Miss had changed their mascot to Admiral Ackbar, then I would probably pick them every week. Buuuut they didn't, sooooo.....
#25 BYU Cougars at Utah Utes
I was hoping WSU would upset BYU in week 1, but instead BYU just looked very solid and deserving of a top 25 status. Utah lost Utah State last week.
Houston Cougars at #22 UCLA Bruins
I love watching this UCLA team early in the season. I don't think that'll change against 0-2 Houston. Pac-12!
South Carolina State Bulldogs at Arizona Wildcats
No upsets this week.
