The Halfass Story

(3-17-13: just looked at this for the first time in a while and realize its very out of date, gonna fix it in the very near future)
I was born and raised in a small town in Washington State named Port Townsend and I am very proud to be from there, I even used to write a popular blog for the local newspaper, The PT Leader. While I loved blogging for the local paper and was very proud of my work, I wasn't making any money from it and I really couldn't say "everything" I wanted without offending people, which I didn't want to do as it put a bad image on the newspaper. After a while I stopped blogging for them, knowing in the back of my mind that it was time I put up my own site.

In April of 2011 I moved to L.A. to be with my fiance while she finishes her Masters in Animation at UCLA (she has a site too: www.marikacboehler.com).  From day one it has been a struggle to find work, and with some motivation and help from Marika, her mom, and my own family (who I also love very, very much), I started this site. At first it was tough to keep updated because I was so focused on finding a job, but over the last month or so (October/November of 2011) I really started to concentrate a lot more on posting more content and opinions to the site and guess what? It's growing by leaps and bounds.
